3 Letter Final Reflection

 

For this 3 Letter Finals I decided to use Q I and O, I
had no particular design in mind, so I came up with the basic in the O being in the corner of the design. The Q made represents Garamond because of the tail and the way it is tilted, the lowercase i represents Baskerville, though I was trying to do Baskerville and did not do so well on the serif i tried to fix the tip of letter by trying to make it pointy in order to represent the Baskerville type. O is Helvetica, though it may not look like it I tried to make it even as Helvetica includes an even full circle, I however decided not to do full for the design. Things I could Improve in this project or jus in any project would be my neatness, I have lots of Eraser marks because of How long it took me to even hand write out the letters. I didn't particularly take the design from one of my sketch rather I took one from one of the 6 sketches and the 2 from other so it could be better off.
This is the picture of the sketch,I tried doing designs which I am not so good at and As you see I took the design of my final from different one of the sketches.

3 Letter+Word Final Reflection

This is my final for 3 letter+word final. When I first thought of an idea i thought of how to come up with an unscrambled word that can fit my design. This led me to choose I and Q as the starting letters,I originally thought of Qwill,however I realized that the Word was supposed to be Quill so I got mixed up and put W. I used G as the curve word to include a challenge that could help my improvement for doing words for future projects. I also did not realize that I accidentally formed a word when using D and O. I just went along with D because of how simple and good it looked to put in the space remaining and an O because O was something I also did in one of my sketches. I did not realize if you put the three together you could form DOG and GOD. That also brought the teachers to be confused so well in a way it is a backup word for the other one because of the spelling mistake.

Repetition

  The use of repetition in this is the dotted lines,I didn’t really do much since I was just thinking about repetition for project and when I created this it felt a spider web (for me) which gives off a weird feeling,  I got the ruler started creating wavy lines and decided to make it go diagnol in different directions,it looked like plants leaves and I just added the circles cuz it felt blank. I got the ruler,started drawing lines in a shape of a triangle and just shaded in and decided to stipple a little bit on the top to make stand out which doesn’t. I looked at the keyboard,and did random things with the shape I think I could add more but didn’t have any ideas to do so. I decided to use the diagnol line when I was creating my framal tefrence and decided to add some wavy lines and dots on each side to make it a form of repetition. At first I didn’t really know what I was doing but once I started with the lines I got the idea to stipple around and this reminds me of a design...
